Born in Montreal, Canada in 1940, I moved with my wife and three children to the United States in 1979, living in West Hartford, Connecticut, Manhattan, New York and now in Riverdale, New York.

My professional training was in graphic arts. I worked in the printing and graphic design industry for over 42 years before devoting myself to my artwork full time. In addition to my work in fiber art I have worked in 3 dimensional forms including clay, paper, metal and wood. I use a variety of complex hand stitching techniques with 100% tapestry wool yarn on canvas to build my abstract geometric compositions ranging in scale from 9” x 15” to 6’ x 6’. My framed one of a kind wallhangings are well suited to both large interior spaces and smaller settings within the home and office. I have done commissioned work and invite inquiries to appeal to the most discerning of clients.

For the past 37 years I have designed and executed original hand stitched abstractand geometric tapestries on canvas. It has been a labor of love and very challenging to design in spite of the restrictive medium of fiber art.

Initially I started designing my fiber art as a creative outlet from the pressures of business. After retirement and having accumulated many rolled up completed canvases stored in a closet, my wife suggested that perhaps it’s time to come out of the closet to exhibit and sell my artwork.

Since retiring at age 62 I have devoted all my time to designing and stitching fiber-art wallhangings. Three years ago my wife of 47 years became my business manager/ promoter and I have exhibited and sold my art in galleries and upscale art shows and art and craft shows.
